Revolut may be good when it comes to small transfers and a secondary bank to use when you go overseas, but when it comes to crypto do not trust them as if you buy a large quantity of crypto, they will close your account and put it under review with no timeframe whatsoever. Revolut has been holding my XRP for over 6 months with the same excuse that my account is under review, so they cannot look into it any further without their respective team giving them the go ahead. I advise anyone looking to buy crypto with Revolut to stay far away as they cannot be trusted.
Revolut might be good for other things but unfortunately buying crypto isn’t one of them over the long term. You are given the opportunity to easily buy cryptos with a credit or debit card, but not the opportunity to transfer them off the app itself. Which isn’t good in my opinion since I like owning my own private keys.
I can only talk about the crypto side of buying on Revolut since this review is about buying cryptos. I would advise people not to buy cryptos on the Revolut app because you never get to own your private keys, plus you can’t actually transfer your cryptos off the app like on exchanges.
Revolut is more like a wallet where you can hold the cryptos that you have purchased, then sell them should you ever want to move your money off the app.
